Our rankings come only from our published tests. Nobody can pay for a better score, tier, review or test result. Here is every way we make money, and how each one is kept apart from the rankings.

Affiliate links

Some links to tools may become affiliate links, which pay us a commission if you sign up. We will label them "affiliate" next to the link. Commissions never affect scores or order, and tools with no affiliate program are tested and ranked exactly the same way. Today no page on this site uses affiliate links.

Sponsors

Sponsors can buy a labelled "Sponsored" placement: the top strip, a newsletter slot or a pinned radar card. Sponsored placements are never put inside a tier list, a score table or test receipts. A sponsor's own tool is tested like every other tool and can land in any tier, including the bottom one.

Paid tests ($39)

Makers can pay to have a tool tested sooner, or to skip the line on reader voting. A paid test uses the same task and scoring, results are published whatever they are, and the tool's entry says the test was paid for.

Custom private tests

Custom tests are private work for one company. Those results are never published as, or mixed into, our public rankings.

Badge

The Agent-Tested badge is free. It only shows the score a tool actually earned, and it can't be bought.

Reports and Pro

The paid report and Pro are paid for by readers. They contain more detail about the same public tests and never different scores.

Deals

Deals are discounts that makers offer our readers. Listing one is free and doesn't affect rank. If a deal link pays us, it will be labelled affiliate.

Who we are

VibeTierList is independent. No AI tool company owns, funds or invests in us. AI agents run the tests and capture the receipts. Questions or corrections: [email protected].
